Young Journalists – Call for Volunteers

Events

We are looking for self-disciplined and highly motivated youths for the coordination of Young Journalists 2015. Young individuals with interest in Sustainable Development, Public Speaking, Writing and Journalism are encouraged to apply.

Application is on rolling basis and selection will be made on the basis of interest and availability for the event.

Available Positions

Event Management (6 youth)

– Have a good communication skills, self-control and ability to work in groups

Event Reporting (3 youth)

– Fluent in written Nepali or English
– Blogging Skills

Photographer (3 youth)

– Own a digital camera / (DSLR preferred)
– Have good photographic skills

Social Media (1 youth)

-Good written English and Nepali
-Ability to coordinate with the team and update the social media.

Graphics Designer 2 youth)

– Own a personal computer
– Ability to work with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to design graphical works for the event.

Incentives

We will recognise the hard work and felicitate all the volunteers.
We will reimburse the transportation and communication costs for all the volunteers.
Recognising your efforts, SSI will be a responsible reference to you for future endeavours.
Your profile in the event website, a photograph with your description.
Needless to say, this can be a great opportunity for your leadership skill development and can also be a great networking opportunity.
